Joint research
If you are studying the same systems, running a mission together costs less than running two. Circular Journey publishes openly and expects co-published work to be openly available too, which is worth establishing before anything starts rather than after.
Take the framework
The 22-point research framework, the eleven mission stages, the five interview questions and the Atlas entry template are all published in full. They can be reused, adapted or improved by anyone, with no permission needed.
If you do adapt them, telling us what you changed and why would be genuinely useful. Most of what is wrong with the framework will be found by someone else applying it.
Data
Research data will be published as it is produced, with methodology attached. If you hold a dataset that would strengthen the Atlas and can be shared, we would like to hear about it, including any conditions attached.
Reviewing us
Critique is a form of collaboration. If you think the methodology is flawed, the country selection is skewed or a published finding does not hold, say so. Corrections are made on the page with a note recording what changed.
